Laurence S. Tisdale
President


Laurence S. Tisdale is an advocate of affordable housing and is president, founder, sole shareholder, and the Associate Real Estate Broker of Larc Community Development Group, formerly LarC Properties, Inc. Since 1991, Larc has developed or preserved over 6,000 units of affordable housing throughout the state of Michigan. Mr. Tisdale is currently the President or Managing Member of 29 housing projects consisting of over 3,800 units. Larc has also ventured outside the state of Michigan to use its development expertise to provide housing and enhance the lives of residents in other states including Georgia and South Carolina.

Additionally, Larc has extensive experience in developing properties using a variety of financing as well as affordable and low income funding related programs. By creating and building relationships with affordable housing lenders and investors throughout the United States, Mr. Tisdale has been able to take advantage of several financing resources used to revitalize housing projects that would otherwise not be possible.

Mr. Tisdale graduated from the University of Michigan Ross School of Business with a Bachelor of Business Administration in 1984 and has been a Certified Public Accountant since 1984 as well. After graduating, he joined The Related Companies in New York City as a Vice President of both Related Companies, Inc. and Related Capital Corporation. Mr. Tisdale is the past president of Jewish Apartments and Services of Metropolitan Detroit and is a current board member of its successor agency, Jewish Senior Life of Metropolitan Detroit. Both of these are nonprofit 501c(3)’s that provide affordable housing and assistance with daily living services and activities for seniors in the Detroit Metropolitan area. Moreover, Mr. Tisdale is an active board member of the Michigan Housing Council, a non-profit organization created to further the development, finance, management, and rehabilitation of affordable housing in Michigan. In addition, Mr. Tisdale is the past President of the Southfield Non-Profit Housing Corporation and past President of the City of Southfield Housing Commission. Currently, Mr. Tisdale is chairman of the real-estate committee of Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Detroit and on the Board of Governors of the Jewish Agency for Israel.

Cheryl Chorazewitz
Chief Operating Officer


Cheryl Chorazewitz is Chief Operating Officer of Larc Community Development Group. Ms. Chorazewitz has over 25 years’ experience in multifamily real estate finance and accounting, and has financed in excess of 2600 affordable units, closing around $240 million in debt and equity financing. Ms. Chorazewitz has experience with many types of financing programs including conventional, tax exempt bonds, 236 Mortgage Decoupling, Low Income Housing Tax Credits, HOME loans and FNMA and HUD financing.

Previously, Ms. Chorazewitz held the position of Chief Financial Officer of the Lockwood Companies for twelve years, overseeing all finance and accounting operations for Lockwood’s construction, development and management companies. Prior to that Ms. Chorazewitz was a Vice President with Holtzman & Silverman/Village Green Management Company. In addition to finance, Ms. Chorazewitz has also acted as asset manager in the various positions she has held, and was responsible for overseeing performance of all assets and all communications with lenders and investors.

Ms. Chorazewitz began her career as a Certified Public Accountant, and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Ferris State University in Big Rapids, Mich. She is a member of the Michigan Housing Council, the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants and Michigan Professional Women’s Network.

Lynn Miller
Chief Financial Officer


Lynn provides financial insight and strategic leadership to Larc Community Development Group and its portfolio of assets. She is responsible for managing all aspects of Larc’s accounting functions including financial reporting, investor reporting, financial planning and analysis, treasury management, and tax. She brings more than 20 years of financial management expertise to the position with a focus on enhancing policies and procedures to support financial performance and compliance.

Prior to joining the company, Lynn was the Senior Tax and Finance Manager of REDICO, a real estate development, investment, and property management company. Lynn began her career at Plante Moran PLLC where she provided audit, tax and consulting services to real estate and affordable housing clients.

Lynn holds a Bachelor of Science in accounting and finance from Oakland University and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the State of Michigan.

Jason Tisdale
Development Project Manager 


Jason Tisdale is a Development Project Manager at Larc Community Development Group. Since joining Larc in 2017, Jason has become a leader on the Development Team, with the primary responsibilities of sourcing, financing, syndicating, and ultimately acquiring multi-family real estate. He works closely with Mr. Tisdale and the Development Team to determine acquisition strategies, as well as seek opportunities to re-position Larc’s current portfolio of assets.

Jason has gained experience in affordable housing through the submissions, and subsequent awards, of applications for Low-Income Housing Tax Credits and Tax-Exempt Bonds. Through these deals Jason has successfully closed on over $20 and $10 million of debt and equity financing, respectively.

Jason studied International Relations and Finance at American University (Go Eagles!) and holds a Michigan real estate salesperson license.

Andrea Brunning
Controller


Andrea Brunning is the Controller for Larc Community Development Group. Ms. Brunning has more than 15 years’ experience in multifamily and commercial real estate accounting and development. This includes over 2 million square feet of new developments and redevelopment of existing real estate. Ms. Brunning has prepared and reviewed financial statements, yearly budgeting and forecasting models, and overseen treasury management for multiple types of investment and ownership entities. Prior to joining Larc Community Development Group, Ms. Brunning worked for both local and national real estate development companies. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Walsh College in Troy, Michigan.

Brian Rideout
Director of Asset Management


Brian Rideout is Director of Asset Management for Larc Community Development Group. Having managed diversified multifamily portfolios for several organizations, Brian has over 15 years of experience in multifamily asset management, finance, and accounting. He has extensive experience in evaluating and achieving operational excellence and developing strategic plans. With his broad transactional experience, Brian has led asset management responsibilities for over $2.6 billion in public and private multifamily transactions, totaling more than 12,000 units spanning 12 states.

Prior to joining Larc Community Development Group, Brian held various roles within asset management at Bluerock Real Estate and McKinley Inc. Brian also has 10 years of experience in finance having held multiple positions within the commercial real estate at Fifth Third Bank as Assistant Vice President.

Brian holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics/Management from Ohio Wesleyan University and a Master of Business Administration from Bowling Green State University.

Alexandra Maniaci
Office Manager


Alexandra Maniaci is the Office Manager at Larc Community Development Group, where she brings over three years of experience in the wholesale mortgage business as an Underwriter and Mortgage Processor. In her current role, Alexandra efficiently manages office operations and supports the team in achieving their goals.

Beyond her professional responsibilities, Alexandra enjoys volunteering and making a positive impact in the community. Alexandra enjoys spending quality time with her family, often traveling up north to create cherished memories. She is also a proud dog owner, finding joy in the companionship and adventures shared with her four-legged friend.
